Roy Hobbs Agenda (HOBBS) is a melting pot of sounds hailing from New Jersey. To briefly describe it, if you can imagine a band that can do the classic sound of rock, mixed with reggae, funk, soul, new age electronica (trance), and plain old good music that also loves to deeply explore the jam, then imagine yourself at a Hobbs show. Formed in 2008 they quickly made their impression felt, winning the jambands.com "New Groove of the Month" right out of the gate. Dont let the jam label fool you though. Yes, they pride themselves on deeply exploring sound on stage, but still believe in the quintesstional song. While only formed recently, this band is no stranger to the scene. Simms (keyboardist/Vocals) prior band, the Breadbox Band reached its national fame when they were asked to record their song "N" for the EA games "the Sims 2" (In Season) alongside Moe., Government Mule, and the String Cheese Incident. With Brian Gallo on bass, and Anthony Miller on drums its almost impossible not to stomp your feet and shake your booty. So come experience the sound of Hobbs.
